i'm a freshman here at murray and i've found that the dorm situation is very interesting. springer is the all girls dorm (many people dislike it). franklin is the all boys dorm with the exception of the top floor. hart is the "hot spot". it's in the center of campus and very big. seems to me like they do a great job of providing activities for all of the students. clark and richmond are the new dorms. they are the more quiet dorms on campus. hester and elizabeth both have community bath...i don't here very positive things about these two dorms. white and regents are the two dorms not near the others. although this might not be the greatest for hanging out with people in other dorms, it is much closer to classes, freshmen can park right out front, and can eat in t-room in the curris center (which has much better food). all of the dorms are layed out pretty much the same with the exception of clark and richmond. hope this helps!
