Can anyone give us information on Springer? That's the residential college my daughter got. I have heard that there aren't doors on the closets like the vid tour shows...and I didn't see any dresser either....so can anyone tell me if there is drawer space or if we need to buy something to bring with us???? Also any suggestion on where to park for move in day would be great. Not sure the best place to park or how to find it lol.

I lived in springer my freshman year, didn't care for it. Anyways, there are no doors on the closets in any of the buildings (something about a fire hazard?) You will want an adjustable tension rod with the suction cups on the ends. A cheap twin sized sheet works wonderfully as a curtain. There are drawers in the closet along the side and bottom (i want to say 3 on the bottom and 5 on the side if i remember correctly). However there is no floor space in your closet. I put my shoes in one of the bigger drawers. I purchased plastic drawers for food items etc since there seems to be a bit of a bug problem on the first floor. you will want bed risers for more under the bed storage if you don't bunk them. the room has one ceiling light, a sink light, and two desk lamps. if the lightbulbs don't work or are missing, you may get them from the front desk. Also, bring a broom, trash bags, and something to dust with. There will be helpers (Public Saftey usually) with parking as there is such a heavy volume of cars coming in. You will be directed to park in the grass behind springer when you get there. Check the website the week that you move in as there will most likely be helpful information as far as where to go.
