I am having trouble finding things on the web site. Somewhere I saw parent's weekend is the end of September, but it isn't on the university calendar. Also, what is the parent's reception on move in day? For those wondering about their dorm assignment, we found out at Summer O 7/11 but don't know roommates yet. Any freshmen in Regents?

The Mr. MSU contest on Friday is a must see show!!!! We were rolling laughing last year!!!!

No info to share on reception....(don't think I did this last year???) There was a parents session at Curris while the freshman had mandatory meetings with their FYLs (first year leaders) in the afternoon.

our daughter will be a freshman Regents. She doesn't know her roomate yet.

Regents wasn't my daughter's first choice but she's really excited about getting down to murray (plus she's happy that regent's has a starbucks in the lobby!) My daughter has been meeting a ton of incoming freshman on facebook so that's a good way for your daughter to talk to people ahead of time. Good luck!
