The department of art at Murray State University is once again holding its annual Holiday Art Auction. The auction will begin a 7:30 p.m., with a special preview at 6 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 17. The auction is open to anyone who would like to bid on original artwork made and donated by MSU faculty, alumni and students, and local artists. The pieces up for bid will be on display in the Clara M. Eagle Gallery starting on Wednesday, Nov. 15, and include drawings, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, prints, sculpture, photography and furniture. All money raised from the auction will go toward student art scholarships. The auction will be held in the Eagle Gallery, which is located on the sixth floor of the Doyle Fine Arts Building.
