George Jones concert at MSU tonight cancelled
The George Jones concert, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 20, (tonight) at Murray State University has been cancelled. George Jones is unable to perform tonight’s scheduled event due to an injury he received today. Jones fell and broke his arm and is being treated at an undisclosed hospital in Nashville, Tenn. No other information is being released at this time.
Ticket holders for tonight’s concert will be able to receive a refund.
REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:
Internet/Phone purchases: Tickets purchased through ticketmaster.com or via the Ticketmaster phone center, will be credited to the credit card used to purchase the ticket. The face value of the ticket, facility fee and convenience charge will be refunded in full.
Outlet: For tickets ordered through any of the Ticketmaster outlets, ticket holders will be able to only receive the refund by presenting the ticket in person to the retail location where it was purchased.
RSEC Box Office / Walk-Up: Ticket holders who purchased tickets at the Regional Special Events Center on Murray State’s campus with cash or check will be able to receive a refund beginning Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 8 a.m. at the Regional Special Events Center Box Office. Ticket holders must bring their tickets with them in order to receive a refund.
For those who purchased via a credit card, a credit will be issued to the card that was used to buy the ticket.
Refunds will be issued until Friday, Nov. 17, at 5 p.m.
