Annual Racer Day to be September 30

MURRAY, Ky., Sept. 28 — High school students and their parents are invited to attend Racer Day at Murray State University on Saturday, Sept. 30, from noon until 5 p m. at the MSU Curris Center. This is the first in a series of information days presented each year by the office of school relations, inviting high school students from throughout the service region for a special campus visit.

Students do not have to register to attend. Representatives will be available to talk about admission procedures, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, housing, food services, career services and student organizations.
Upon arrival, students can browse the concourse areas to get information about a variety of campus resources. Two 25-minute sessions will be held from noon-1 p.m. to provide information about scholarships and financial aid. Faculty, staff and MSU students from each of the academic colleges and the school of agriculture will be available for visits in their specific areas from 1:45-3:30 p.m. MSU student ambassadors will also escort small groups on walking tours of the campus from 3:30-5 p.m.

Free tickets will be available to visiting students who would like to attend the Racer football game vs. Tennessee Tech. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. Parents may purchase tickets at the gate.
